Dr Anil Chandra, Currently serving as Professor, Dept. Of Conservative dentistry & Endodontics, faculty of Dental sciences, CSM Medical University( Erstwhile K.G.M.C) completed his Bachelor’s degree in year 1983 from King George’s Medical College Lucknow went on to do his Master’s in Operative Dentistry from the prestigious University (BHU) in year 1986 . He is actively involved in teaching at both under graduate and post graduate level since 1986 (a total experience of 26 years). During this period he has guided more than 30 dissertations, has a number of International and national Publications to his credit , has written Chapter on “Role Of Radiology In Endodontics “for IGNOU Certificate course and has also contributed in the Practical manual for this course.

Dr Anil Chandra is a Visiting faculty at University of Medicine and Dentistry, NEW JERSEY (USA) since 1997, has worked as visiting scholar in the dept. of restorative dentistry in 1999, 2003 and 2006, he has also worked as Research scholar in the department of Pulp biology at University of California, Los Angeles (USA) in 2003.He also visited New York State University in 2006 and 2008 as Guest Faculty.

Dr Anil Chandra has received Training in Esthetic Dentistry at Salt Lake City, UTAH (USA), he has also received advance training on ROTARY ENDODONTICS at BALLAIGUE, Switzerland, and has conducted more than 25 workshops and Lectures at different Platforms all over Country.

He has been President of Federation of Operative Dentistry of India, President Indian Dental association Lucknow and has also served Indian Endodontic society as Executive Committee member.

He also has presented research paper on “Regenrative Endodontic” at World Endodontic Congress in Oct.2010 at Athens (Greece) and was awarded Certificate of appreciation and active Participation and Presentation.

He is a Member of American association of Endodontics, American academy of cosmetic dentistry, British society of restorative dentistry, Canadian academy of esthetic dentistry and Member of Cariology group at International association of dental research

He is also serving currently as Editor-in –chief of “Indian Journal of Restorative Dentistry”, member editorial board “Asian Journal of Dentistry”

He has been conferred with the “Distinguished Alumni Award” at Banaras Hindu university- Varanasi in Dec.2010he is also recipient of “Aizaz Rizvi memorial award” in the year 2005

He has also received “AIZAZ RIZWI MEMORIAL AWARD “for excellence in Profession in 2005. He has been invited as a Guest Speaker at 5^th Dental conference at Indonesia in Nov.2011 where he delivered to lectures one for the faculty at University Of Sumatra, Medan Indonesia and other for 5^th RDME and exhibition at Medan Indonesia.
